Meet the presenters:

Meredith Stuzko
Product Manager

Meredith Sutzko is Food Safety Product Manager for Romer Labs. She has over 15 years’ experience in the development of food pathogen immunoassay test methods, technical support, and product management. Meredith holds a Masters of Science degree in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware. She is a certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI). She has conducted numerous workshops on food pathogens and the application of rapid methods in the food industry. She is an active member of several industry associations and has presented various technical abstracts at trade conferences and exhibitions.  

Mark Muldoon
Director, Research and Development North America
Currently Director of Research and Development Romer Labs, North America. Received Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology from the University of Maryland in 1993. Served 13 years at the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service including as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Food and Feed Safety Research Unit, College Station, Texas developing monoclonal antibodies and immunoassays for the detection of antibiotics and their metabolites in food animals. Joined Strategic Diagnostics Inc. in 1996 as a Senior Scientist in R&D. Developed and commercialized antibody-based test kits for a variety of pharmaceutical, industrial, environmental, ag-biotech, and food pathogen applications. Joined Romer Labs in 2012 with the acquisition of the Food Pathogen and GMO test kit business from SDIX. Senior author of 48 publications, book chapters, and abstracts. Co-inventor on 4 issued US patents.
